Legacy Hospice is honored to serve our beloved community of Greater Atlanta

 

We provide care to any person who has a chronic or terminal illness. We do so at no cost to the patient or the patient`s family. Hospice care is covered under Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance plans, HMOs, and other managed care organizations.

Legacy Hospice focuses on caring and providing comfort. In most cases, we provide care in the patient’s home. We also provide care in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.  Our services are available to patients of any age, religion, race, or illness.

​At the onset of care, our team develops a care plan that meets each patient’s individual needs for pain management and symptom control. Support for family caregivers is also assessed throughout the care period. While the range of services provided will vary depending on each individual situation and the specific needs, our staff is available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

During the whole care period. We make regular visits to assess the patient and provide additional care or other services.

Also, from time to time, Legacy Hospice provides charitable care. In that regard, we accept a limited number of indigent patients.
